Your licence

An AFDIM licence is for one computer. With a licence key, you activate it in AFDIM at once. Without internet, you send a request code that AFDIM creates on that computer, and you load the licence file that comes back. There is no account to create and no password to remember.

Offline licensing and support

    Create a request code in AutoCAD

    Click Settings on the AFDIM ribbon tab, then About › Request licence. AFDIM shows a one-line request code and also saves request.afdim on your Desktop.

    Choose a trial or a move to this computer, and send the message this page prepares. Buying and renewing open soon.

    Receive license.json

    The licence file comes back by email within 3 business days.

    Load it

    Click About › Load licence… and choose license.json. AFDIM confirms the activation and runs.

Have a licence key?

There is nothing to send. In AutoCAD, click Settings on the AFDIM ribbon tab. On the About tab, click Enter licence key…, paste the key (AFDIM-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Activate. The computer must be online while the key activates.

Licence purchase, renewal and support

This support form prepares an email that you send yourself. The separate online renewal check sends your licence key to api.afdim.com when you continue to checkout; the key is never sent to Paddle.

This helper needs JavaScript. Without it, email your request code — or attach request.afdim — to support@afdim.com, and say which you need: free 7-day trial; move my licence to this computer.

What a request contains

The AFDIM version, when the request was created, and salted one-way hashes of identifiers of the computer — never serial numbers, never your drawings. The name on the licence is what you type on this page.

Buying a licence

Pay online on the pricing page: Paddle is the Merchant of Record and emails a receipt with the order number. Your licence key is emailed automatically after payment is confirmed. Enter it in AFDIM; only an offline computer needs a separate request. If delivery fails or your company needs a quote first, email support@afdim.com.

Common situations

New computer, or Windows reinstalled
After reinstalling Windows on the same computer, enter the same key again. For a new computer, use the self-service move in AFDIM within your plan’s allowance. If the old computer is broken or the move is outside that allowance, request support here. Stop using the licence on the old computer.
Trial or licence ended
AFDIM stops running on the end date. A trial is not extended. Buying and renewing open soon; until then, questions go to support@afdim.com.
Several computers
Each computer needs its own licence, and each licence has its own key. Buy one per computer.
