In short. You can get a full refund within 14 days of your order, for any reason, change of mind included. Every order is placed through Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, and Paddle handles refunds: ask at paddle.net, through the link in your receipt, or by writing to support@afdim.com. Paddle pays the refund back to the payment method you used. A refunded licence is terminated: its licence key is deactivated, it is not re-issued or renewed, and you must stop using AFDIM under it. The free 7-day trial lets you check AFDIM on your own drawings before you pay.
1. Who refunds you
- Paddle. Paddle (the entity named on the receipt) (“Paddle”) sells AFDIM licences as reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle took your payment, so Paddle decides on and pays refunds, under its refund policy (paddle.com/legal/refund-policy) and its Buyer Terms.
- The developer. TÔ VĂN TÍN (TO VAN TIN), the individual who makes AFDIM and grants the licence under the End User Licence Agreement (the “Seller”), answers support questions and passes the refund requests sent to support@afdim.com on to Paddle.
The Seller does not take payments directly and does not pay refunds directly.
2. Try it first: the 7-day trial
You cannot hand back downloaded software the way you return a physical product. That is why AFDIM has a 7-day trial. Install it into your own AutoCAD®, run it on your own drawings, and check that it works with your AutoCAD version and your kind of work before you pay. AFDIM runs only in full AutoCAD on Windows, not in AutoCAD LT.
3. When you can get a refund
- Within 14 days, for any reason. You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the date of your order, for any reason, change of mind included. You do not have to say why, and you do not have to show that anything is wrong with AFDIM.
- If AFDIM does not run. Support will gladly try to make it run first, if you want that: tell support what happens when you run AFDIM and, if asked, send the support bundle AFDIM creates with Create support zip… on the About tab of its settings. Trying support never shortens your 14 days; if you still want your money back, ask for the refund within them.
- After 14 days. Paddle may still refund at its discretion, and does so wherever the law requires it.
Paddle, as the seller of the order, processes every refund under its refund policy. As that policy says, Paddle may refuse a request where there is evidence of fraud or refund abuse.
This applies to quarterly, yearly and perpetual licences and to update renewals alike, and to each order separately. It does not reduce any right you have under the consumer law of the country where you live, such as a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase. Where such a right ends once you start using digital content, Paddle’s checkout tells you before you pay.
4. How to ask
Either way works:
- Through Paddle. Use the link in your receipt email, or look up your order at paddle.net with the email address you used.
- Through support. Email support@afdim.com with your order number. One sentence is enough; the Seller passes the request to Paddle.
The Seller aims to reply within 1 business day. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Vietnamese public holidays, in the ICT (UTC+7) time zone, as the Terms of Service define them.
5. How the money comes back
Paddle pays approved refunds back to the payment method you used, in the currency you paid, including any tax charged on the order. How long the money takes to reach you after that depends on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are not paid in cash or as store credit.
6. What happens to the licence
A refunded licence is terminated. AFDIM licences keep working offline until their end date, so termination means:
- the Seller deactivates the licence key and does not re-issue or renew that licence;
- the Seller may list the licence as withdrawn in the signed update feed, which stops it on every computer that checks for updates; a perpetual licence has no end date, so it is always listed;
- you stop using AFDIM under that licence, and remove the licence and the software from your computers.
Your drawings are not affected. Dimensions AFDIM has already drawn remain entirely yours. If you buy again later, you get a new licence.
7. Plans and renewals
Quarterly and yearly plans do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel. Each order covers one period, and you are not charged again unless you place another order.
Ordering another period is a new order. It can be refunded under section 3 like any other order, and refunding it terminates the licence period that order paid for.
A perpetual licence is paid once. An update renewal is a new order too: it can be refunded under section 3, and refunding it takes back the 12 months of updates it paid for, while the licence keeps the update period it had before the renewal.
8. Chargebacks and reversed payments
Please write to support@afdim.com, or contact Paddle, before you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment. Within the refund window, a refund is faster and returns the same money.
If a payment is reversed or charged back, its licence is terminated in the same way as a refunded licence (see section 6).
9. Contact
- Refunds and payments: Paddle, at paddle.net
- Support: support@afdim.com, replies within 1 business day, ICT (UTC+7)
- Developer and licensor: TÔ VĂN TÍN (TO VAN TIN), trading as AFDIM
Consistency rule: supported CAD releases and editions are those advertised by the installer and download page for the relevant release; references to AutoCAD do not expand or narrow that scope. Refund consequences, termination and assignment follow EULA sections 10–11; refunding a renewal preserves the paid perpetual licence. The full 14-day refund guarantee is AFDIM’s voluntary commitment in addition to mandatory rights; AFDIM is responsible for arranging it through Paddle.
